Hi, I'm Osman. I'm an industrial engineer, a technologist, and a collector of interests. I believe AI can be used for social good all the while preserving our planet and upholding our humanity.

Currently, I'm a founding engineer at Atrios, a startup backed by a16z speedrun. I'm also doing a master's in computer science at Georgia Tech, focusing on computing systems and machine learning.

Previously, I was a software engineer at HealthTap, where I helped pioneer their use of AI in primary care by building a voice assistant designed around patient safety, privacy, and access. I earned my BASc in industrial engineering at UofT, where I built conversational recommender systems, gave a self-driving FSAE car its vision, organized Canada's largest student-run career fair, ran a global undergraduate ML research competition with teams from CMU, Harvard, Cornell and ETH, and was a F!rosh Leedur four years running. I also interned as an engineer at Ploopy, Doctalk, and Molex.

Before all that, I was born in Karachi , lived in Dubai , and grew up in a city with the largest concentration of halal restaurants in North America .
